One-time Setup Required

Before your portal goes live, you need to connect it to your free Supabase database. This takes about 5 minutes and only needs to be done once.

Step 1 — Create free account

Go to supabase.com → click "Start for free" → sign up with Google or email

Step 2 — Create a new project

Click "New Project" → name it mbo-portal → choose a strong password → select region → click Create

Step 3 — Get your keys

Go to Settings → API → copy your Project URL and anon public key

Step 4 — Run the database setup

Go to SQL Editor in Supabase → paste and run the SQL shown after you enter your keys below

✅ Keys saved! Now copy this SQL and run it in Supabase SQL Editor:

About MBO Youth Empowerment

Building a generation of empowered, skilled, and self-reliant MBO youth

Our Mission

The MBO Youth Empowerment Programme is a community initiative aimed at reducing youth unemployment, poverty and dependency in MBO communities. We provide vocational training, entrepreneurship support, digital skills, and job placement to young people aged 18–35 who are indigenes or residents of MBO LGA.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be an indigene or resident of MBO LGA
  • Age 18 – 35 years at time of application
  • Must possess a valid National Identification Number (NIN)
  • Minimum of SSCE / NECO / NABTEB qualification
  • Must be willing to commit to the full programme duration
